In spring 2022, the successful holiday apartment concept of the Cuckoo's Nests in the Black Forest will be expanded with new exclusive flats that are not yet available in the Black Forest. When the first cuckoo's nests opened in 2015, the objective was to present holiday flats in the Black Forest in a modern, yet authentic and sustainable design. Six successful years and thousands of satisfied customers are proof that this path was right and will continue. With the current expansion of our existing holiday apartment idea with exclusive and spacious suites, we have continued along this path and have now consistently implemented it for upscale demands.
THE COOPERATIOn
Our spacious suites - from junior suites for 2 people to penthouse suites for 7 people - are exclusively furnished with furniture from the traditional German company BW Bielefelder Werkstätten. They are furnished with the finest fabrics and curtains, as well as overlay carpets made exclusively for this flat by JAB Josef Anstoetz Bielefeld, with bathroom furniture by the world-famous Hornberg company DURAVIT, box spring beds by the traditional Haslach company Hn8, designer kitchens with appliances from BSH and many other little things and surprises from the Black Forest and the region, ensure moments of well-being for our guests.

Bielefeld Workshops
We are particularly proud of our partnership with BW Bielefelder Werkstätten, who are furnishing holiday flats to this standard for the first time and helped put together the furnishings and colour concept. The BW Bielefelder Werk stätten are a manufactory in the classical sense. Each and every one of the products is carefully handcrafted by masters of their trade exclusively in the quality location of Germany - according to traditional knowledge and with great attention to detail. The style is characterised by a timelessly classic aesthetic, which we continue to refine in cooperation with renowned designers. The interplay of design and craftsmanship creates fascinating furniture whose value customers appreciate - and often for generations to come.

This furnishing includes furniture specially put together for the suites by the traditional company BW Bielefelder Werkstätten with the finest fabrics and curtains as well as underlay carpets by JAB Anstoetz, which are also exclusively manufactured. Dfkfr. Carmen Michaela Rudolph is responsible for the suites' own design in the newly created "Black Forest Style", which, together with the team from Bielefelder Werkstätten, has created a counterpart to the "Alpine Style". In the foreground, therefore, is the colour green, which stands for the Black Forest and is also found in the furniture and carpets in various forms and is flanked by warm earth tones. The wooden floor, the walls painted in a warm and modern shade of grey and fresh colours such as red and orange give this new design direction an exclusive and novel touch.
